Taste of Blood

This is Draig Maughrim licking blood off his hand. One of my favorite pictures of him, actually.

I drew him in pencil, then inked him with a Pigma 005 and 01. The blood on his hand comes from the same wonderful red pen that I used in Red Hand in my scrapbook. From the beginning I wanted a black and white image with red blood. I don't know why it occurred to me. In any case, I find the result quite arresting.

I also like how his hand came out.
